Rashee Rice is under investigation for allegedly hitting a photographer at a Dallas nightclub, Lit Lounge, early Monday morning.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the altercation. He had swelling on the side of his face.

Police are interviewing witnesses about the event. Rice is a suspect but no charges have been filed.

New details about the alleged assault surfaced last week.

According to the report from the Dallas Morning News, a suspect assaulted a photographer after luring him to a room at the club.

When the photographer met the suspect in the room, the suspect told the photographer to check his phone and then punched him in the face when the photographer looked down at his phone.

However, on Friday of last week, CBS News reported the following information from Reza Dibaje, owner of Lit Lounge:

Neither Rice nor his lawyer Royce West have issued statements on the investigation.

The NFL schedule will be released this Wednesday at 7:00 pm CT.

• Season Opener: As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs will host the first regular season game of the 2024 season. Who will the NFL pair with the Chiefs for the primetime kickoff?

  • Luke’s prediction: Bengals or Texans

• International Game: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are a global brand at this point. The NFL will look to get Mahomes and the Chiefs in front of a global audience any chance they can get.

  • Luke’s prediction: The Chiefs will play the Panthers in Germany. The Panthers are the Chiefs’ only road opponent with an international home game.

• Star-Studded QB Battles: The Ravens (Lamar Jackson), Texans (C.J. Stroud), Bengals (Joe Burrow), and Bills (Josh Allen) have some of the best QBs in the NFL not named Patrick Mahomes. Expect the NFL to put all of these matchups in primetime slots throughout the year.

  • Luke’s prediction: The NFL will put at least two of these four games on the Chiefs’ schedule during the last four weeks of the season as the Chiefs will likely be vying for playoff seeding with these teams.

• Super Bowl Rematch: The Chiefs and 49ers will play in San Francisco in a rematch of Super Bowl 58. Expect the game to be another primetime matchup.

  • Luke’s prediction: The NFL will put this matchup on the schedule for Sunday or Monday night football sometime in the first four weeks of the season.
