Hollywood Brown to IR
The Chiefs are placing WR Hollywood Brown on IR.
Brown will undergo surgery to repair his dislocated SC joint and is expected to miss significant time.
Doctors determined that the injury was not healing correctly despite Brown feeling better. Failing to have surgery on it now would put Brown at greater risk of a more serious injury down the road.
Brown is guaranteed to miss at least four games since he’s going on IR, but reports are that it will be longer than just a four-game absence.
Brown’s surgery is scheduled for Monday with Dr. Peter Millett in Vail, Colorado. Dr. Millet is ranked in the top 1% of orthopedic surgeons in the US.
