George Karlaftis

Second-year DE George Karlaftis is the Chiefs leader in QB pressures by a defensive lineman this season.

Karlaftis has accumulated 27 QB pressures this season, 6 more than the next closest defensive lineman, Chris Jones.

He is a key factor in why the Chiefs’ defense ranks 3rd in the NFL in QB hurries per dropback with a 12.3% hurry rate.

Karlaftis only has 2.5 sacks so far this season, but he is getting consistent pressure on opposing QBs and is on pace to surpass his rookie season sack total of 6.

His development is just one of the reasons the Chiefs have the 4th ranked defense in the NFL and a 5-1 record.
